“The First Transgender Superhuman” Continues Proving Prescient

I authored three short stories for Mortal Gods: Ignition, a book Freedom Press International published last year. The middle story was, “The First Transgender Superhuman,” which incorporated the modern obsession with the fantasy of a transgender human being in its plot. That story continues proving prescient, with America promoting transgenderism more than ever in 2017.

You can’t get away from transgenderism. People promote it in every aspect of life. I’m publishing some links to a sampling of stories from April alone just to show how much America is saturated with this promotion. I list the stories under headings related to which part of life they affect, but I offer no further commentary.

And with as relevant as the obsession with transgenderism is, be sure to purchase Mortal Gods: Ignition so you can read “The First Transgender Superhuman” (along with the other two fine stories in the book).

Superhumans: Coming to a Military Force Near You

Editorial Note: Originally published at BarbWire on February 08, 2016.

Superhumans might seem like pure fantasy but they are not. The armed forces of the world are actively working on creating them.
Media have focused attention on how the U.S. Department of Defense is attempting to create a so-called Iron Man suit. But there is more going on than just this. There are already talks about military forces (not necessarily American ones) manipulating DNA and genetic structures to create enhanced humans or superhumans. I wrote about this in the summer of last year.
So what’s the latest that is happening with research and development of superhuman technologies and capabilities? I contacted someone who is interested in future trends and asked him for his thoughts on it.
Zoltan Istvan is a transhumanist and the author of philosophical novel, The Transhumanist Wager. He also is a candidate in the 2016 U.S. Presidential race. Mr. Istvan believes in using radical science and technology to improv…

Original Artwork for the Fiction of Liberate Liberty: What It Is and What It Can Be

Prose stories do not require artwork. However, prose stories struggle to find an audience without it. And what good is a story if no one is reading it? So here is the latest on the forthcoming artwork for the forthcoming tales from Liberate Liberty—here is what it will be as of now and here is what it can be if enough people support the stories.
I commissioned original artwork for both Mortal Gods: Ignition and Winning through Losing. The total of four separate commissions cost a significant amount of money. But it was worth it for those books. I’d like to commission more artwork for forthcoming stories (more of which I will post about this week—including how the first story will begin its serial publication this week or the next) but I need to make sure there is the demand for it.
So as of right now I’m creating the artwork for my latest work. I’m teasing excerpts of some of it above and in the images below. Some of what you see now might be different in its final form. And some of …

The Stought Brothers – Serialized Young Adult Series Coming Soon

Another story I am working on completing is the first story for a potential young adult series called, The Stought Brothers. I will publish the story in its entirety as a serialized story and for free at BarbWire.

I will judge how people respond to it and if it does well enough I may be able to proceed with the series, publishing the next book for sale as an eBook.

The logo you see to the right is the working logo for The Stought Brothers. If it proceeds as a series, then there probably would be an entirely new design along with cover art for the book.

Here is the general outline for The Stought Brothers.

Two brothers, 16- and 18-years old (a sophomore and a senior in high school), travel the world with their parents. Their father is a highly skilled doctor specializing in brain surgery, and he travels the world under the sponsorship of his church so he can provide life-saving operations across the globe. He takes his family with him wherever he travels. During their travels, the bro…
